Today, the Hurd for America campaign released a digital ad titled “Border Strategy Reboot,” and focuses on one aspect of his border security plan: treating cartels and human smugglers as terrorist organizations. The six-figure ad buy will run on digital platforms in early primary states.
“The situation at our border is so dire that even Democrats are finally realizing that President Biden’s open borders agenda has caused a national crisis,” 2024 presidential candidate Will Hurd said. “I represented a district that spanned the U.S.-Mexico border, so I know better than anyone in this race the challenges we face and how to solve this crisis once and for all. My plan involves treating cartels and human smugglers as the terrorists they are, classifying drug trafficking as an act of importing a weapon of mass destruction, enhancing our border infrastructure through audits, and addressing the root causes of illegal immigration.”
